Contractor of the Year — and what it actually measured
HAVAN named us Contractor of the Year for 2026. The useful part is the standard behind it: a superintendent on site, a tidy street, a budget that is allowed to tell the truth.
When HAVAN named Hasler Homes Contractor of the Year for 2026, we took it as a reading of fifteen years, not one hero project. The houses that get photographed — Japandia, Haven, La Maison — are the visible half. The other half is a superintendent who is actually present, a nightly clean-up neighbours comment on, and a budget that is allowed to tell the truth.
We are still a North Shore company. Greg and Natalie still own it. The carpenters are still ours. The architects we admire still get a builder who will argue with a drawing if the drawing will leak. That is the work. The award is a welcome footnote.
