Canyon
Concrete and cedar, spanning a creek we left alone.
Canyon sits on a site that would punish a clumsy plan. The house spans the grade as a long volume of concrete and cedar and leaves the creek intact. Inside, the palette is mute on purpose, so the forest can be loud. A wet climate is unforgiving on junctions; we spent the time there.
