A Net Zero Energy+ farmhouse a family actually lives in.
Haven was for a family who wanted the house to work on a Tuesday — homework at the island, a swim after school, a gym they would actually use — and still meet Net Zero Energy+. We poured low-carbon concrete, built a tight envelope, commissioned the air system (not just installed it), and sized the solar for the life they live, pool included. The kitchen later won at HAVAN. The useful test is simpler: it is comfortable in January, and the neighbours still like us.
